About Us
Quark Soup is an independent retailer of scientific and educationally based toys and gadgets. Our products are specially selected, tested, and researched to provide the utmost in quality and service. But, most importantly, we do not sacrifice the fun for education.
The real Quark Soup experience can only be acquired at our store where we have most of our products available for trial or demonstration but this web site will give you an idea of what we are about. So take a look around and, above all, have fun learning!
Mail Order
To keep a more personal feel (and keep our prices low), we do not have a shopping cart on our site. Our mail order process works as follows.
- Look over the site and find what you want.
- Send us an email ( info@quarksoup.ca ) including the products you are interested in and your full shipping address.
- We get a shipping estimate from Canada Post (or any shipper you prefer) and email you with this information.
- If the costs are acceptable to you, you call us local (519) 271-2051 or toll free 1-866-686-3568 with your Visa or Mastercard information.
- We ship your package within 24 hours.
- You receive your package and there is much rejoicing.
Return Policy
All easily repackaged products are inspected and tested upon arrival.
We are happy to refund or exchange any faulty or unopened product with all parts, and packaging in resaleable condition within 30 days of purchase with original receipt(s). After 30 days by special arrangement for exchange or store credit only. We are not responsible for any shipping costs.
The register receipt is necessary because it not only shows the date purchased but, we do have sales periodically so the receipt also shows actual price paid. In the case of debit or credit returns, the authorization number on the slip and purchasing card are necessary so you do need both the register and credit machine receipts.
These conditions are due to the requirements of our distributors. We will not be reimbursed for products that do not meet these conditions therefore we cannot refund or exchange without them being met.
If you have a faulty or unopened product that you wish to return but will not be in our store within the 30 days, call us immediately and we will make arrangements. We understand that a lot of our business comes from travellers so as long as you have notified us within the 30 days and all the other conditions mentioned above can be met, we will service your needs. |
